Internet Explorer 9 is an excellent browser. After having used it for a little while now, I am pretty satisfied. However, when you first install it, there will be some annoyances. Depending on how you use the browser, these annoyances could be rather big.
The first thing you will notice when opening IE9 is that the tabs and address bar are on the same row. Try opening a few tabs and you quickly run out of real estate. This needs to be fixed. You can’t just drag the toolbars around either. Here is how to move the IE9 tabs below the address bar.
Before:

In order to move the tabs, just right-click in the area above the tabs and address bar. You will see the following menu after right-clicking.

From this menu, just select the option to “Show tabs on a separate row”. Thats all you need to do. Now your tabs will be correctly positioned as below.

This is a simple tweak, but it took us a while to find the option. For some reason it doesn’t appear in any of the regular menus.

I think the fact that the tab in internet exolorer 9 can move below the address is an excellent features. Basically this makes a lot more easier to open new pages and surf on the Internet.
It’s a horrible “feature” because it should be standard that way. Again, microsoft adds “features” because they don’t put the hard work of doing quality UI design in the first place so you have to have a power user modify the interface to be useful.
The tabs need to be under the menu! not just the Address bar.
yes, it should be an option to move them wherever, but unfortunately it can’t be done.
