One thing we liked about Internet Explorer 7 was the dialog box that popped up when you tried to close a browsing session. It asked you if you wanted to open all of the same tabs the next time you fired up IE.
If you were browsing a whole bunch of different sites and had these all tabbed, you certainly didn’t want to just lose all of that.
Well luckily, you can do the same in Internet Explorer 8. It’s just a little more hidden. What is with Microsoft trying to hide features these days? Anyway, you can safely close out a heavily tabbed session in IE8, because you can retrieve all of the tabs next time you start it up. Here is how.
When you open Internet Explorer 8, click on a new tab or type “about:Tabs” into the address bar. You will see the following:

Just click on “Reopen Last Browsing Session. That will retrieve all the tabs that you may have closed in the previous session. Very simple and very useful.
