Using Total PC Health - Quick Start Guide


This guide provides an overview for your first use of Total PC Health. There are quite a few features, but you can get started right away with the scanning and optimization.

The Home Screen

When you open Total PC Health, the first screen you will see is the Home screen. There are also three other tabs, Optimize, Disk and Settings. Each tab provides access to different types of optimization and optimization settings.

The register button is available in the top right. You can view health results and find duplicate files without registering. However, to enable full optimization and repair you will need to register and obtain a license key.

The home screen provides various options and the ability to start scanning. By default the scan will check your Registry, drivers, processes and privacy. Click the "Start Scan" button to view your PC health rating. This may take a few minutes.

After scanning, you will be given a health rating. Results for each scan are also provided. You can view each individual scan by clicking the green arrow button in the top right of the window.

Before fixing items with Total PC Health, we recommend that you set a restore point. This will protect your PC in the event of problems with your Registry.

You can either fix all of the problems together by clicking "Fix All" or you can fix an individual item such as the Registry. If your PC health is not optimal, you should begin fixing items ASAP.

To exit the scan results and return to the home screen, click Cancel in the bottom left of the screen.

If you decide not to run the fix all, you can have complete control over how you fix items on your PC. Some users may wish to update only their drivers, while others might only want to fix privacy issues and so on. Initially you should fix all items, but after that you can streamline how you optimize your PC.

Before fixing items with Total PC Health, we recommend that you set a restore point. This will protect your PC in the event of problems with your Registry.

After clicking the Fix All button on the overall results screen, it may take a few minutes to perform the repair and optimization. After this, your PC should become faster and more responsive.
